Kevin Kiesworo, PhD MBA
Assistant Manager, Capability Development & Partnerships

Prior to NHIC, Kevin co-founded Emergence Biosciences, a startup using computational datasets to predict how unknown drug compounds affect diseased cells, to accelerate early-stage drug discovery. As co-founder, he combined product development with commercial leadership, engaging corporate partners on strategic collaborations and venture capital investors on fundraising.
Kevin holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Lausanne, where his research examined the mechanisms driving age-related capillary density decline in complex organs, work that helps explain how organs deteriorate over time. During his doctorate, he also contributed to a clinical trial at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) investigating whether time-restricted feeding improves surgical outcomes. He holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
